Dosimetry Training

Allegheny General Radiation Oncology has been able to start and maintain a quality dosimetry-training program over the last several years. Due to the lack of availability of a program in our geographic region a training program was necessary. The program typically takes one internal candidate every two years. They are trained by a staff mentor and attend structured physics lectures for a two-year period. Candidates are contracted for three years after completion of board certification.
