Dr. Kossow joined Allegheny General Hospital Department of Radiation Oncology in 2007.  Dr. Kossow previously served as a radiation oncologist at 21st Century Oncology in Willingboro, NJ.  He received his medical degree from New York Medical College in 1995, and completed an internship in internal medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia.  He also completed a residency in radiation oncology at the University of Minnesota Hospital.  Dr. Kossow has expertise in the use of radiation for all malignancies and benign conditions and has expertise in all forms of conformal radiation including intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) and brachytherapy for gynecological, prostate, brain, head and neck cancers.

Dr. Kossow is certified by the American Board of Radiology and is a member of several professional societies including the American College of Radiology, the American College of Radiation Oncology, the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the Radiological Society of North America.
