Dr. Arshoun joined Allegheny General in 2002 as an attending radiation oncologist after serving as an associate physician at the Forum Health System in Youngstown, Ohio, and also as an assistant professor in radiology at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. He has previously held the concurrent roles of attending physician and assistant professor in the radiation oncology department at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pa.
A graduate of Ain Shams University Medical School in Cairo, Egypt, Dr. Arshoun completed and internship in internal medicine at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center in Youngstown, Ohio. He completed a residency and fellowship in radiation oncology and was also the chief resident at Allegheny General Hospital. Dr. Arshoun is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American College of Radiology.
